CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER

This is a 2011 USA film directed by Joe Johnston. It is a superhero film based in the character of Marvel Comics.

ARGUMENTS:

The movie takes place most of the time in World War II, it tells the story of Steve Rogers, a Brooklyn man who transforms himself into the Captain America to help in the war. He must stop Red Skull, the head of an organization that wants to dominate the world.

ANALYSIS:

The premiere took place on July 19, 2011 at Captain Theatre in California. Its commercial premiere was on July 22, 2011.

AWARDS:

This film was the winner of several awards: BMI Film & TV Award (cinema music), Scream Award (best superhero) and Visual Effects Society Awards (best composition)
